Noorderzon celebrates its 20th birthday this year! For ten years now Arno van der Heyden welcomes in his Arno's Apéritief various guests from the evening programme to give a little entertaining preview on what they will be up to. Arno shows you where the main action is during the festival in his one hour show – between 6.00 en 7.00 PM – with dry sausage, drinks, other food, nice talks and clips. Time to take a look in Arno's Apéritief Archive!

This archive is big and extensive, so we don't find exactly what we need, but the stories come up very soon. 'Every year, we think we all want to do it differently, but we always return to the same old concept, it just works', says Arno. Before he started to do his shows, Arno performed on the festival itself in 1994. He even met his girlfriend on the festival!

'Of course, we will pay attention to the 20th anniversary of Noorderzon', says Arno, 'we want to be some sort of office, where you bring your stories or memories that comes to your mind when you think about Noorderzon. The most beautiful ones, we will highlight in the evening's program.'

As always, there's a lot more to tell, but that will be for a next time!
