Ticket sales for the Noorderzon programme (for most performances) will start on Monday July 23, at 12.00. You can buy tickets at the DownTown Kiosk on the Akerkhof Groningen or via our website noorderzon.nl. From Monday August 13 you can also buy tickets at the central Kiosk in the Noorderplantsoen.

Direct ticket sales
Tickets sales at the DownTown Kiosk on the Akerkhof will start on Monday July 23, at 12.00. Our team of ticket sellers is well informed, and will gladly give you advice on the extensive festival programme. You can pay in cash or by bankcard (not creditcard!) and will receive your tickets straightaway. The Noorderzon Kiosk in the Noorderplantsoen will open on Monday August 13, at 12.00.

open on working days from 12.00 to 18.00 and in weekends from 12.00 to 17.00
Kiosk Noorderplantsoen: Monday August 13 – Sunday August 26 –
open every day from 12.00 to 22.00 (Sunday August 26, til 20.00)

Online ticket sales
Our online ticket sales start on Monday July 23 at 12.00. From that moment you can buy tickets through noorderzon.nl, and pay with iDEAL (through your own bank) or with a creditcard (Visa and Mastercard). If
you buy your tickets online before Monday August 13, your tickets will be sent to you through post (only to adresses in The Netherlands). The service costs are 2 euros for the total of every online transaction (and
a little more if you choose to pay by credit card).

If you purchase your tickets after August 12, you will receive an email with a voucher. With this voucher you can pick up your tickets at the Kiosk in the Noorderplantsoen from Monday August 13 onwards
or at the DownTown Kiosk. If the performance will NOT take place in the Noorderplantsoen but at a DownTown location, you can also collect your tickets at the venue half an hour before the start of the
performance. If the performance will take place in one of the venues in the Noorderplantsoen (Romeo Tent, Ophelia Tent, Spiegeltent, Desdemona Tent) you have to collect the tickets you have purchased
at the Kiosk.

Last -minute tickets
Tickets are sold at the Kiosk until an hour, and on the Noorderzon website until two hours before the performance starts. The remaining ‘last-minute’ tickets are sold on location of the performance, 30 minutes before the show starts.

Tickets on location
For a number of smaller shows you can only buy tickets on location of the performance. Ticket sales here start 30 minutes before the performance starts. This is indicated in the magazine and on the
website. We can only accept cash for these tickets.

Rules of the game
* Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded
* You can buy a maximum of six tickets per person for every performance
* Admittance will be refused to visitors who turn up after the performance has started
* Pets and children under 4 years old are not allowed in the performances
* Photography or video-registration is not permitted during the performance
* Please switch off your mobile phone during the performance
* Please note that smoking is prohibited during the performance
* The scheduled programme, duration and starting times are conditional
* Note that if you leave the performance early (to go to the toilet, for instance), please take into account that you may be refused admittance at your return, because it may disturb the actors or the audience, or lead to dangerous situations
* Discounts cannot be combined

The myth ‘that tickets are always sold out ’
A number of performances will certainly sell out fast, but this certainly isn’t the case for all of the shows; this is a myth. You can often still buy tickets for shows on the evening of the performance itself. There are a lot of alternatives. Please visit the Kiosk for more information.
