The Australian artist Fleur Elise Noble has been working with drawings, animations, dolls and video projections for years. With 2-Dimensional Life of Her she has created a performance in which all her loves are blended together into one exciting unity. As an unsuspecting visitor,you enter a mysterious space within which everything is possible. Drawn figures on paperare so fed-up of their two-dimensional existence that they make off and pop up everywhere and nowhere. All this is much to Noble’s irritation. She is busy polishing and scrubbing, and tries to keep her 2-dimensional world under control. Open wide your eyes and allow yourself to be carried off to a world where nothing is as it seems.
