Not by the films but by the hero of the book First Blood by David Morell, on which the famous films are based. His passion for the heroic epos is taken to the limit in ‘Rambo solo’ when he attempts to talk about events as he remembers them, right down to the smallest sweaty details. Oberzan loses himself in the many minute variations on the plot that populate his ailing memory and he becomes entangled when he begins on a one-man war - just like Rambo - against the story that has been filmed so often.
