The main train and bus station in Groningen (a.k.a. Hoofdstation Groningen) is easily accessible by train and bus. The Q-link lines run from everywhere in the region into Groningen city centre. The Q-link lines also stop at all the P+R locations surrounding the city of Groningen. Parking there and taking the bus into town is an excellent alternative to driving into the busy city center.
By car Because driving in Groningen is particularly complicated, we advise you to consult an up-to-date route planner in advance. The car park nearest to the Noorderzon festival park is ‘Parkeergarage Boterdiep’, with entrances at Boterdiep 85 or Bloemsingel 10. Groningen also has an excellent shuttle service (the Citybus) from the big parking lots in and around the city to downtown. Click here for more information about parking and the P+R sites. (Dutch only)
