Johan Wellton | Glitch

Chaotic eye candy brimming with special effects
Noorderzon is tossing a tradition overboard this year: for the first time ever a juggler will be taking the Romeo Tent stage. Yet not just any juggler: this is a true Swedish great. Welcome to the newest sensational adventure of Johan Wellton. He became wealthy, famous and conquered the world. And then his dream life was shattered. He used this experience to create Glitch, his most sophisticated and extravagant show ever yet. Wellton toys with the laws of nature, uses special effects galore and brings astounding ingenuity into play. Although the first half of his show seems to feature bizarre tricks doomed to fail, in the second half he really allows himself free rein. The result is ingeniously created, rivetingly chaotic eye candy, culminating in an unbelievably fantastical finale. Welton on his very own will blow you entirely away. And that’s a promise.
