Ambitious and uncompromising longing
Andy Warhol was born as Andrew Warhola. The same ambitious and uncompromising attitude as the American pop artist displayed can be found in Warhola from Belgium, that other marvellous project of Bazart guitarist Oliver Symons. Flemish daily De Morgen described the sound of the electropop band as follows: “The sultry R&B you undoubtedly play during unmentionable bedroom activities has made its way to the set list even more prominently than before, as filled with enticing longing as it was with ultimate radio fare.” With enough synthesizers to go around, bass and his well-nigh magical voice, Symons really sets a sultry atmosphere with Warhola, which you should be sure to catch if you enjoy the sounds of Oscar and the Wolf, Jamie Woon or SOHN.

“Brimming with self-confidence tinged with a touch of sensual, dark love, he blew the audience away.”
