Michelle Ellsworth | Preparation for the Obsolescence of the Y Chromosome

Things go fine without men

Men are completely superfluous creatures. There are also fewer and fewer of them, so one day women will have to go it alone. American performer Michelle Ellsworth is helping to prepare for this era. Using science, humour and handy aids (such as the staring-male-gaze-simulator), Ellsworth explains what we will be missing and what we will gain should the Y chromosome indeed disappear.

‘Fusing science, dance, text and her witty/jittery commentary, Ellsworth whips up a frenzy on stage’

- Nancy Wozny, Arts+Culture
