Feringa Researchgroup | Molecular engines in a nutshell

While computers, robots and cars are taking over our daily life, it is impossible to ignore that there are also developments on a much smaller scale. In 2016, the Nobel Prize for Chemistry was awarded to Professor Ben L. Feringa of the University of Groningen, for the development of nanomotors: cars that are 1,000,000,000 smaller than the thickness of a hair. Who did this research, how did they do this and can we use these nanomotors as a relief medicine? Two researchers from the Feringa research group will explain this during an interactive lecture!
