Minimuseum 4+

The Groninger Museum is coming to Noorderzon with a silver Airstream caravan, transformed into a creative mini museum! Step inside the fantasy world of Joana Schneider, an artist who brings textiles, rope, and stories to life.

Together with museum educators, you’ll create your own artwork: knit a poem, design a piece of jewelry, or build something out of this world. For children, teens, and adults who love to create.Visit the caravan during Noorderzon and receive a free ticket to the exhibition at the Groninger Museum!

In collaboration with the ELJA Foundation, the Groninger Museum will work in the coming years to build a strong and lasting connection with children and young people in the city and province of Groningen. Besides fostering connections, the goal is to introduce children and youth to art, culture, and heritage in a playful way through inspiring and engaging workshops.

Museum educators from the Groninger Museum will take the mini museum to as many locations as possible. These include primary schools, secondary schools, cultural centers, and community centers, as well as events and festivals.
