Tips for day 9

TIP 1: Asteroide - Marco D'Agostin
A paleontologist takes the stage. He speaks about fossils, meteorites, and the great extinction of the dinosaurs – calm, scientific, precise. But gradually his story shifts. Words turn into songs, movement flows into dance, and the lecture spirals into something unexpected: an absurd, moving musical about loss. Because behind the extinction of the dinosaurs lies a personal story too: that of a love that vanishes without warning.

TIP 2: Noorderzon Night Programme: VELVET
VELVET is a queer club experience by artist and drag performer Jurjen Galema a.k.a. Lola Lasagna. Step into a colourful world of soft sculptures, performances, and music. The dance floor turns into a fantastical universe filled with creatures, drag performers, and dancers. VELVET blurs the lines between visual art, performance, and nightlife, creating a safe space where everyone belongs.

Tip 3: Play Café - Profound Play
What happens when, instead of creating for children, you start playing with them? Not just play for play's sake, but a deeper kind of play emerges when artists and children meet. Makers from dance, theatre, visual art, and music playfully explore new worlds alongside children. Their shared sense of wonder is what drives the process – children inspire the artists, and the artists spark the children's imagination in return.
