Straight from the heart of Brittany

Birvilh is a dynamic Breton trio from the Lorient region that brings energy and conviviality to the fest-noz, the traditional Breton music and dance festivals. These festivals can be found in many Breton villages throughout the summer.

The group offers a rich repertoire of traditional dances such as Kas a-barh, hanter-dro, gavotte fisel, plinn, aven, and mazurka. You'll also hear beautiful, more relaxed melodies, in which instrumental virtuosity really comes into its own.

Birvilh naturally draws inspiration from the rich, traditional Breton musical repertoire, but also blends in other influences, creating a sound that's accessible to everyone. Always with that infectious energy that invites you to dance!

In their dance workshop, they clearly explain a number of Breton dances that everyone, young and old, can join in: no experience needed!
