In Good Spirit was formed at the Minerva Art Academy in Groningen by five musicians from five different countries. The result is a dark, feverish folk project featuring two strikingly different vocalists whose voices blend together effortlessly. For the band, expression and honesty always come before perfection, which is why their debut album, Comfort on its Knees, was recorded live in its entirety.
