Lars van der Meer Kwartet

Lars van der Meer is a jazz pianist from Friesland, currently studying at the Prins Claus Conservatory in Groningen. Focused on the fundamentals and core of jazz music, Lars is always searching for renewal and change. In quartet formation, he feels most at home exploring new sounds and directions. The support of like-minded musicians is essential, which is why Lars is joined by an exceptionally strong ensemble. The ensemble is enhanced by the lyrical sound of alto saxophonist Dion Hoorn.
