Milad Dehghan

Milad Dehghan is an Iranian musician, pianist, composer and live electronics performer based in Groningen. He holds a Master’s degree in Fusion Composition from the Prince Claus Conservatoire, where he developed his distinctive musical style, Persian Chill-Out. By blending traditional Persian music with Western electronic, chill-out and neoclassical influences, Milad creates immersive soundscapes that introduce the beauty and richness of Iranian culture to new audiences.

Human connection lies at the heart of his work. Through his performances, Milad creates unique musical experiences that invite audiences to connect across cultural, political and social boundaries.

Invitation is a live performance project that serves as a platform for cultural exchange. It combines Persian musical traditions with Western musical practices through new live arrangements of Milad’s album Invitation, released in January 2026. At a time when increasing conflict and the pressures of modern life leave many people feeling stressed, disconnected and emotionally distant, Invitation offers space for empathy as the foundation for genuine human connection. The performance guides audiences through moments of calm, openness, reflection and togetherness.
