Outside the Block Party

Outside The Block is organising a workshop and jam session centred around hip-hop, featuring a live DJ set by Deejay Irie. You’ll start with party grooves to help you learn to move freely to the music, followed by an open jam where we’ll dance together as a community.

Driven by a desire for connection, Grace Hardt and Juersson Hermanus started dance gatherings in public spaces, with hip-hop as the shared language. They strive to create a safe and inspiring place for the freestyle dance community, where dancers can develop, connect, and express themselves freely. Alongside weekly jams, they aim to further expand the platform by organising workshops, battles, and community events, in which encounter, knowledge-sharing, and collective growth take centre stage.
