Crossing | You is an interdisciplinary duet that explores the dynamic nature of borders through the way we meet each other in an increasingly alienated world. 

The performance blends contemporary dance and live guitar, exploring borders not only as lines of separation but as shifting interpersonal conditions. 

Inside our intimate container,as the guitar becomes a "third body" in space encounters dissolve and re-form in real time. 

We invite you to enter a fluctuating space of complexity and stay with us, even when it becomes uncomfortable.

Please note:

• This year, for the first time, you can buy tickets online in advance for all container performances taking place before 5.00 pm.
• On each day of the festival, tickets for performances after 5.00 pm on that day will also go on sale online – and at the ticket points on the festival site.

Roni Yaacobi (b. 2001) is a Rotterdam-based dancer and maker. She graduated from the Dance Artist programme at ArtEZ University of the Arts in 2023, following a full-year internship with the Poetic Disaster Club (Club Guy & Roni). Since graduating, she has worked as a performer with choreographers and performance makers including Jefta Tanate, Gaja Caruso, Iacopo Loliva (Teddy’s Last Ride), and Lea Ved, among others, and is currently part of De Dansers in Utrecht. Roni’s choreographic practice explores the interplay between movement and live music, engaging with political and societal conditions through their emotional resonance.
