Vreemde Eenden

Vreemde Eenden is a playful, interactive experience on and around the water. A fleet of ducks invites visitors to be curious, look around and bump into one another in unexpected ways. In this way, a simple encounter with a duck turns into an unexpected encounter between people. An experience centred on curiosity, play and connection in public spaces. 

Under the name Props, Pixels & Play, Maik Cuper creates playful technical installations and interactive experiences. Drawing on a background in programming, electronics, game development, and improv theatre, he explores how technology can invite people to play, react, and connect with each other in an accessible, low-key way. His work combines physical objects, digital interaction, and a healthy dose of curiosity. In this, technology isn't the star of the show as a trick or gimmick, but a means of making wonder, humour, and human contact possible.
